Re: What about this, does anyone NOT play this?
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah I've had a horrible month & I guess it's starting to get to me a bit. I'm also trying to quit smoking so maybe I'm a bit more on edge than usual. You're not missing anything huge, at least not as far as I'm aware. This is just ilya going craaaazy. [/ QUOTE ] I was wondering the exact same thing as Jimbobobb. If you don't mind me asking, did this have anything to do with withdrawing a lot of your bankroll? [ QUOTE ] Thanks for asking & I hope to restore your faith in my judgment in the near future [/ QUOTE ] No one lost faith. Well, maybe a tiiiny bit, but I have no doubt it and your luck will rebound quickly. |

Re: What about this, does anyone NOT play this?
Your reasoning for folding here? Because he would only raise half his stack with a hand that you have 2 outs against? Or?

Re: What about this, does anyone NOT play this?
He could raise with anything like KQ or A9s which are both good things. I'd say put him to a decision for most of his chips. PUSH it.

Re: What about this, does anyone NOT play this?

I'm pretty sure I'd fold here. I'm pretty certain I can speak for Negative EV here as well, as we both agree on how to play with this many players on the $33s. On a higher limit, I'd be far more inclined to play this hand. Even if you have a read, this is a race if you play. [/ QUOTE ] You don't think the villian is making this play with 66? If you really don't then a fold might be good. However, against the $33 players I've played with, 66 won't be the bottom of villian's range here....and by folding TT you're giving up a ton of $CashMoney$. Yugoslav |

To the ones who voted for stop and go:
What hands that beat you do you expect him to fold after the flop when you move in? |

"like KQ or A9s which are both good things"
Nope. I'd much prefer to up vs A9s than KQ. "I'd say put him to a decision for most of his chips. PUSH it." Problem is this isn't a decision for most opponents. You have hardly any folding equity except vs a few total morons. |

To the ones who voted for stop and go: What hands that beat you do you expect him to fold after the flop when you move in? [/ QUOTE ] It's mostly that you want two overs to fold on the flop if they miss. |

Re: What about this, does anyone NOT play this?
If this d-bag would fold to a reraise of all-in preflop then I'm dropping out of school this year and starting poker full time.
This is a stop and go all the way, there is no benefit to pushing preflop. |

Re: What about this, does anyone NOT play this?
Stop and go is for when you have a good hand but not a great one, i.e. one that if you pushed preflop and were called, are not ever likely to be a huge favourite. TT is not one of these hands, therefore you push so they will call with their smaller pairs, AT and below and so forth, as well as their two overs, which they certainly will not always have.
