Jim Souhan is a columnist for the Minneapolis paper who knows the team well. He wrote today that he doubts that Culpepper will ever return to top form:

Just confirmed, Culpepper is out for the season. It sounds like his knee was torn up pretty badly:

The correct name is the "O'Donghue's Triad" or the "Terrible Triad." Yeah, it's the McGahee injury. Other ones that come to mind: Rodney Harrison, Trent Green, Michael Lewis (version Beerman).

Jeff George Quincy Carter Chris Chandler Shaun King Jonathen Quinn Tim Couch Chris Redman Rick Mirer Jim Miller (injured?) Danny Kanell Chad Hutchinson Jesse Palmer Doug Johnson Rohan Davey Arena League/CFL QBs and a bunch of pratice squad guys. I'd go George, Couch, Redman, Davey. The rest, pass.
