John Edwards\' dad was a mill worker.
There, I just saved the Kerry campaign $1 million in advertising.
(For those of you watching different TV, yes, they actually have an ad running here that says only two things, 1) John Kerry went to Vietnam, and 2) Edwards' dad was a mill worker: http://www.johnkerry.com/videos/play...70604_new_team. I was like, ummmmm... when does the ad begin?)

What a decline in the Edwards family fortunes. One generation of good hard working millworker, followed by the next generation of sleazy ambulance chasing lawyer. What a disappointment for the family [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
At least the Kerry family fortunes have improved from the days of the Chinese Opium dealers.

becoming a lawyer, especially with working class roots, is something to be proud of. snorting coke and failing in businesses and presidencies that were handed to you on a silver platter are not.
