Default Hard Rock Casino, Tampa

Hey i'm 18 and going to my first casino finally this summer, at the hard rock casino in tampa since the age limit is 18. I was wondering if anyone has played there and what kinda limits they have etc, and if they offer poker players any comps or room rates. Any information about rooms in general and the casino will be appreicated. Thanks

$2 limit. Those are the only cash games there. Depending on the day, you can play some single- or multi-table tournaments with a decent buy-in and a lot of juice.

Hope you don't plan on playing casino games either, all they have is slot machines, bingo, and $2 poker. If you want to go to a real casino, get on a casino cruise.

Here you go, everything you need to know about Tampa/ St pete poker.

Steamboatin's Florida Poker Tour

$2 poker is painful and don't forget all your WSOP gear. Best advice if there isn't an age requirement is the Ocean Jewel.

All the poker rooms are the same due to Florida law limiting raises to a $2 max. Blind structures can be 1/2 or 2/2 or a single 2 dolllar blind.

If you think the $2 rule is bad you should have been here when the law only allowed a max $10 pot.

wow that really sucks, i just thought since it was a seminole casino the rules would be different. I just want to experience the live game in a casino, but the structure they have there sounds crappy, its a $1 min rake correct?

I think they rake 10% to $5 max (yeah).

Yes, gambling on land sucks here. They would do so well if they would legalize it too. The retirees are a gold mine.
