Default I have never been more confused in my life (pity post)

All I ask for is some pity. I wasn't even mad at the end of this one, just extremely confused.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, Hero caps, CO calls.

Flop: (9.40 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO caps, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.70 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

River: (10.70 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.70 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Ks As (one pair, kings).
CO has 6c 5s (straight, seven high).
Outcome: CO wins 12.70 BB.

what is this check call the turn bs. Cap the turn also.

Aggressive is the name of the game big man. Top pair top kicker. Pump it up. Than you check all the river if he helps you cap it the turn.

Simple

Ok you have my pity. I would bet and call a raise or maybe CR the turn but I wouldn't try to cap it unless you know he is a total maniac. Aggression is the key but not overplaying your hands. It's only a pair after all.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (5.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

Results in white below:
Button has 3c 2c (flush, ace high).
Hero has Ad 8c (two pair, aces and sixes).
Outcome: Button wins 9.50 BB.

He quickly told me afterwards he did it because he was mad that I raised him after he completed in the SB.

I'm going to start raising in that situation more often if I can get results like this...

Why are you confused? He is an idiot, you should be pleased that anyone on your table could play so badly.

I think it is worth putting more than 1 bet in on the Turn, as it is not flush card.

I would have a hard time doing that after it's been capped both preflop and on the flop when all I have is top pair, unless I knew something specific about the opponent.

Am I weak?

Guy.

Have to agree with Guy here. The tables, putting more than 1 bet on turn and river is just like burning money...

LOL! I was at that table with you last night. That guy sat down with $100 and left with about $1200 after 129 hands. His stats were VPIP: 62, PFR: 43!

I personally lost $227 directly to him.

I am trying to embrace the variance. I really am.

Well, I am happy to concede to those with experience of this game, though his betting looks a lot like pumping suiteds to me, I am not willing to put him on AA or KK just yet...
