Do live casinos cash checks from online poker sites?

Ive never cashed a check in a casino so Im just curious if they would cash a check from an online pokerroom?
If you know specifics of Atlantic City casinos that would be even more helpful

No.
Usually casinos will only cash personal check from you.
They won't cash a 3rd party check, or even a payroll check.

I know that the Palms in Vegas will cash paychecks, and usually give you a food voucher too. I have no idea on other types of checks though.

So he can go to the Palms in Vegas, cash his paycheck, fly back to Atlantic City, and try to find someone to cash his poker room check.

I think the Plaza downtown LV gives you a bonus for cashing your paycheck there.

Well, I was simply pointing out one instance that I know of where casinos take more than personal checks, and even encourage it. Making it seem possible that other types of checks might be accepted as well. Since you made no mention of this in your first post, I thought I would throw it out there.

Which is why the word "usually" was used in my post.

In Kansas, some Indian casinos were caught accepting food stamps, but I don't think you should take some to Atlantic City and expect to play them on the tables.

And yes, when I posted I thought some nit would point out that some local Vegas casinos do cash paychecks, but you are still are going to have a hard time finding one handling 3rd party checks.

if you havent set up check cashing or credit with them in advance then any check including a cashiers check will be cashed only after it has cleared their bank. which may take more time than you will be there.

almost every casino in Vegas will cash paychecks with a valid ID.. on fridays you will see lines of people literally across the casino just cashing their check. LOL, you'd think they'd have direct deposit or a checking account

Why not just cash the check at your bank? Seems much easier...
