I heard its all NL. I also heard it's Barry's new place.

Not sure if any of that is true, but it's what I've heard.

I've played here.

Yes, it's Barry's place.

Frankly, it's kind of a dump. 3 tables. One of those is a kitchen table. Otherwise, it's just some crappy room. They have an old guy who cooks which is cool and some other dude who sits around and plays reckless no-limit.

I played a few tournaments there but Barry got tired of noone sticking around for cash games afterwards. Oh well. I played a few cash games there and was irritated with the setup and the fact that the house players would tend to bet heavily. I guess that's no real reason to gripe, but I don't like the feeling of paying time to the same guy who's "buying" in with a huge stack and coming over my head as opposed to just filling out his own action.

I'd go back but Rounders is 1000 times nicer.

Any of you guys know how I can get into Playstation? I've heard you need to be accompanied by a current member for your first visit. PM me if you can help. Thanks.
P.S. No, I'm not with NYPD or any other law enforcement agency.

Evan,
I included that disclaimer because there seems to be an air of secrecy about that particular club, much more so than the other clubs in Manhattan. The three that I've been two have been pretty loose about letting new people in the door. A couple of 2+2ers that I've asked about Playstation have basically said "you're on your own" when I asked them about getting in.

Yea. Also, there's a reason why its often refered to as "The club that shall remain nameless." They don't want publicity from what I understand.

The reason I made fun of that line was that despite what people think no one is really afraid of giving info to cops. Most of us assume the cops know where these palces are. What we do want is for the cops to be able to keep pretending they don't; spreading information accross public message boards is a bad way to do that.

Here's an old thread with a bunch of opinions on the topic.

EDIT: Sorry for fu[/i]cking up this thread. Am I the only one that can't make links work? THey look fine in the preview then they look like this when I post them.
