2001 BMW 325ci

There is a yellow indicator on my dashboard that keeps coming on when I start my car, its a box with water in it and a little thing protruding out from the corner of the box. Is this for oil? Anybody know what I need to do, I'm assuming replace one of the fluids but I don't know which. I don't have an owners manual.

drive on down to a local service station, if its fluid, they can put some in for a small fee.

If you had posted this at the weekend I could have looked in my manual, but from description sounds like it needs some water/engine coolant.
