Default Re: 8-tabling 5/10, how much can you make?

it's not a big deal.
you just get a pop-up window that says something like "we are unable to seat you at this table as we have detected that a player from your same IP address is already playing there. please select another table."

That's not the exact language...but it's sorta like that.

5/10 full on Party sucks except for like the hour it is good late at night.

I agree. I've played some of the party 5/10 full....and while there are some fairly decent tight players there I would say that they are typically kinda passive.
And I have also run across enough VPIP-45, PFR-1 types to keep me happy.

I'm liking the 5/10 6-max games more and more as I continue to work on my short-game. But the 5/10 full just aren't THAT terrible.
Not as easy as the 2/4 or 3/6 games....but from my limited experience the difference from 3/6 full to 5/10 full is not as huge as many 2+2'ers claim.

...losses can really get to me emotionally.

I'm a futures trader right now and I love my job...

C'mon, no one else thinks that's funny?

I was under the impression that he's trading for a company, not for his own account.

I do trade for a company, its not quite as emotional when it's not your own money.

I couldn't agree more. The limits get proportionally tougher as you move up, just as they should. There's no valid reason why 5/10 would be so much tougher than 3/6.

Well actually.....the valid reason that people use is that 5/10 has 6-max tables so all the wilder players that want to play 5/10 head over there for more action.
And the 5/10 tables truly are played by complete morons I think...although I am still learning this game.

No doubt that the 5/10 full games are tougher....but there really are some bad players on those tables sometimes.

Also....not all would agree that the games get tougher as you move up as many 15/30 players claim that can be pretty easy much of the time.

I think many would claim that the 5/10 and 10/20 full on party are tougher overall than the 15/30 full. I've only played a little 5/10-full and even less 15/30 full and absolutely no 10/20-full so I really can't form an opinion on the validity of these claims.
