Sadly, place cells are used for storing and processing spatial information.

They aren't going to make you a better poker player, but if you get lost in the woods.... [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

EDIT: Not to say this mental "rush" of hands following a marathon session doesn't serve a purpose. How memory works is still somewhat of a mystery, however there needs to be some sort of cognitive sorting and storing. Maybe were just Dewey Decimaling these hands to simplify future retrieval.

I took the night off of poker and watched boon dock saints last night with my girl friend, Got some tail and then went to bed.

I had the best night of sleep I have had in a while

Same thing happens to me except for I usually end up thinking of what ifs? What if that turn was a spade instead of a club and how the hand would play from there.
