Default Table screen size on my laptop, please help

I just got a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop with the 1920X1200 resolution, and when I open up the Party Poker application, it doesn't fit the table windows properly. There is a big empty black space underneath each table window and I can't shrink the window or anything, so how do I get rid of that? Change the resolution? I'm supposed to be able to 4-table with no overlap but since each window has that unused black space with no graphics in it, they don't fit properly on the screen. Also, my login screen is messed up, some of the words on the username and password screen are inverted or missing, it just doesn't look right. Please help! I'd appreciate it so much, thanks.

Check and make sure you have the latest and best driver for both graphics and display.

yeah i do. i don't think that's the issue. everything else is fine, just for some reason the poker sites don't open properly. There's just a big empty space at the bottom right of each window, the table graphics don't fit to the window. can anyone help?

Are you talking about, like a ring of black surrounding your viewing area? Or something else?

I also had this problem and it's easy to fix. wh1t3bread was able to help me out in this thread a couple weeks ago.

Here is how to fix this:

Right Click on your Desktop.
Choose "Properties".
Go to the "Settings" Tab.
Click "Advanced".
Search around your Advanced settings for something called "DPI".
Change your "DPI Setting" to "Normal Size".

You will probably have to restart after this for the settings to take, so make sure that you don't have anything important open.

It's under the 'General' tab after you click on the advanced settings.

right.
The DPI setting (or Font size or whatever it is) is probably set on 'large'.

I had the black-space on the lower-right of the party-tables for several months without knowing how to get rid of it.
