What stops an employee from stealing from the register....nothing

No matter what the business a dishonest employee can steal lots of money, so using that as an argument for why a business would fail, is well, a very poor argument

What if you just write a bot that will tell your employees which buttons to push. Then you don't have to train them beyond pushing buttons and some chatting to disguise the bot play and they will much less likely become good enough to make money on their own. Your bot better be pretty good though.
