I push any two here. Maybe it is dumb, but BB has less chips than you. If you push and he folds, you now have 1235 while he has 525. You can fold and let him make a move.

If you fold, you now have 785 and he has 975. Crap...that makes it closer for me. Ack. He has to pay the SB next hand and the BB sure as hell won't be folding.

Ok, maybe I fold. Maybe.

Unless you have a read that he is either tight or aggressive, I'm thinking fold. He's just as short as you, he;ll almost certainly fold his SB next hand, you might get something good before an orbit is up and you're in the same spot. I'm thinking a typical donk is calling 75% of the time here.

Also, if you're playing the $22s you can't spare 4 buyins for SNGPT? This is exactly the sort of situation it excels at answering.

Playing around with SNGPT says it is neutral EV play if he calls with 22+,A2+,K2+,Q2+,J5o+,J2s+,T7o+,T5s+,98o,96s+,87s (top 60%) and -EV if he calls with more hands. People who don't call that much are pretty rare in the 22s and I would have to have a specific read to push.

I have the power tools and use it often. I like getting opinions from the board also sometimes.

People need to go review what the stop and go is. It's not possible here.

What you're probably thinking is to call and push any flop. Anyone think this is a possible line?? You might get him to fold slighly more often.

I consider that a stop-n-go (even though the example in the FAQ doesn't mention doing this from the SB).

Anyway, I probably wouldn't do that unless I was really bored.

I would fold here. The chip movement doesn't make too much difference. You are both are going to be short stacks, just like before this hand started.

You still have enough chips where a double-up would give you some breathing room. If you can pick up a hand in the next 3 hands, you will have a great shot at a double up.

Meanwhile, the other short stack will likely try to wait it out since you hit the blinds first.

Bottom line, you do need to double up, but you don't need to do it with 62. You can worry about the other shorty after you handle your own business.
