I figured Batteries Not Included would be on the list.

I don't get all the hate on A.I. and War of the Worlds, I liked them both. The endings were a little weak but I don't think that they ruined the entire movie.

why do you nerds hate WOTW so much?

[/ QUOTE ]

that's a question for scifi purists. i didn't hate it that much (hence not a nerd?) AI is clearly the worse movie.

I chose the terminal. I was going to choose hook, or AI, but then I remembered that they at least had a minimal amount of eye candy going for them.

I'm going with Hook

This was the worst movie I ever saw as a kid, save The Sound of Music.

Hmm, I really liked this movie as a kid

I've seen them all except for Always and Munich.

[/ QUOTE ]

Always is a good film. It's not a must-see. But, it's a should-see.

If A.I. ended when Haley Joel Osment was on the bottom of the ocean looking at the Blue Fairy saying "Make me a boy" over and over again, and faded to black, cue John Williams score, it would have been a MUCH stronger ending, IMO.

War of the Worlds ... by FAR. That was the worst written storyline in history.

[/ QUOTE ]

um...wow.

methinks Orson Welles would disagree.

anyway, isn't 1941 the clear choice here?

I cannot in clear conscience vote for "1941". The John Williams score and the Eddie Deezen dummy save this for me.
