Take a walk until the dealer's down is done. If you figure you'll be playing 6-8 hours more, you'll still have lots of hands ahead of you. Taking breaks (especially those spent strolling around the Wynn!) is usually a good idea in a long session.

Get used to reaching out to get your cards, and never tip that ungrateful bastard again.

If that dealer wants to waste his thought process on keeping grudges, let him. No need to do it yourself.

Conspir8or has it right. Take a walk.

It depends how short. If it was really short I would politely ask the dealer to pitch the cards a little closer to me. If he didn't, I wouldn't tip him for the rest of the trip. Although, I'm not sure why you sitffed him originally.

Stiffed?

$12 pot. $7 of that from the blinds. Most of it his money. Maybe $7 profit. Guess you think OP should have tipped $3.50. Get real.

This is the problem with tipping.

Pretty soon, these people take it as an entitlement, and get all uppity if they don't feel someone tips 'enough'.

Remember, tipping is a *gratuity* - and as such totally voluntary.

And also, tipping is always, always -EV.

You know what, as a dealer i don't get upset if a player doesn't tip me on a pot. That seems real petty to me.

But as a player I don't get upset if the cards don't land directly in my hand and I have to reach out a little to get them. Seems really petty to me.
