The Robert's Confirmation Hearing: Opening Salvos.

I am listening to some of the opening statements right now, or at least as many of them as I can stomach. The confirmation is going to be another 'show of shows'. The babbling and demagoguery of the Senators is really impressive. Senator Diane Finstein from California gets a blue ribbon. She was blubbering on and on and did not realize she was over her time limit. Her posturing and shrill hand ringing about how the ultimate doom of American would be decided in this confirmation hearing was a thing of stupendous wonder and fabulous idiocy. The alligator smirks on the Southern Republican Senators are a great thing to see also. Senator Biden wants to bite Robert’s head off, Kenney, being the coward he is, wants to hire some assassins to whack him out of the picture, and some of the Republican slaveys simply want to have sex with him.

The knavery continues on, with almost all the Senators telling Robert's how he is supposed to conduct himself and answer, or not answer, questions etc.

And through it all each Senator is presenting themselves has the latest archangel sent to protect 'The American People', a phrase repeated to the point of nausea.

Did you see the D-congresswoman who talked about the jews getting shot and having to take off their shoes before getting shot, which was a religious symbol, accurate but has nothing to do with Roberts or America, funny stuff.
