Default Too tight?

$5.50 NL, 22 out of 570 left, $18 payout jumps to $28 for placing 11 - 20. With 14k in chips and 1.5k/3k blinds, I get K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the CO and it's folded to me. Button has 21k, SB and BB have 8k each after posting. I fold. Bad? In retrospect this seems like a good situation to push.

Note: I pushed on the previous hand with KK and picked up the blinds.

Note 2: I went on to finish 5th, my first final table in about 10 tries and I felt that my patience helped me get there.

Yes that's too tight. I would raise any 2 cards here. KT is a monster.
