Re: Ruling I Won But Have Never Seen Before
This is complete BS. I can't imagine why that dealer shouldn't be fired. I would also not let the dealer push me the pot in this situation.

Re: Ruling I Won But Have Never Seen Before
I agree it's weird. What I'm not understanding is why tha hell the "loser" wasn't screamin' n hollerin' and maybe threatening a nut-kicking?

Re: Ruling I Won But Have Never Seen Before
Yes, he questioned it but didn't raise much of a stink. He didn't ask for a ruling from a room boss, nothing. I think if he would have made more of a fuss it might have been different but even then, the cards are gone, and I'm already stacking those chips. And yes, I did keep the pot and didn't say a thing to the guy.

I gotta admit, I think I'd have probably just shrugged my shoulders and stacked the chips, too. kay-sur-rah |

Re: Ruling I Won But Have Never Seen Before
Like Tony & Devil Man, there's no way I'm taking that pot (if I'm in your shoes).
But maybe that's why I'm often broke :-) |

Hurray for that dealer. I hate the "turn over only one card" guys. It's not the freakin homegame!
Can I Paypal that dealer a tip??? |

Unless for some reason I disliked the guy, I would have given him the pot.

Re: Ruling I Won But Have Never Seen Before
This is the old "you snooze you lose" ruling (aka. the early bird ruling). You dont always need the best hand, you just have to show it faster.
Pretty standard in some North South card rooms |
