Default Going broke either way?

2/4 NL on pokerroom... hero with ~780, villain covers

Dealt J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in MP... folded around, I call, LP calls, villain calls in LP, BB checks.

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot=16)

Checked to me, I bet 20, LP calls, villain raises to 80, I call (?), LP folds.

Turn K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (pot=206)

I check to villain, he bets 100, I call (?)

River Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot=406)

I lead for 250 (?), Villain raises all-in, I call.

How was my line?

In an unraised pot I go broke on that river.

Exactly my thought, I put him on a J with a weak kicker, maybe J9 suited or something.

on the river you have 580 left in a 400 pot, you are going broke.

I gladly go broke, he could easily have JT/AJ. You easily could be beat, but I still stick it in all day.

Pre-flop: fold

Flop: Re-raise to avoid giving a free card to hands like Ax[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or 87[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. (If he has JT or a better J I'm probably going broke anyway)

Turn: Bet the pot.

River: OK

If I have JT I call your river lead. If I have JA I call your river read. If I have a higher fh (extremely unlikely) obviously I push you, as I do with JKJQ. I cant see you winning at showdown against a soldi player, but you cant fold. Is check callin the river ridiculously weak?

Yes. Check raising or pushing the river is fine though. So is bet calling.

why can't he have J10 or AJ? J-x is obvious too but you beat more than just that. in an unraised pot of course i call this river push, w/o hesitation.

EDIT: AceHi already mentioned J10/AJ--i didn't read all the way through.
