Default I do this way to often (drawing hand OOP)

From Prima so I can't get a decent HH converter.
.5/1$ 6-max (5 players)
Everyone has about 100$

I get 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB.
2 folds, Button limps, SB completes, I check.
Once again no reads (I know, I know, 6-tabling, plus I just sat down)

5 players to the flop (3$)
T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks, I bet 2$ with my OESD. Both call.
Anyone always play different here? Checkcall? Checkraise? Bet more? (i hate checkraising draws myself (unless its a big checkraise allin), is that a leak?)

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (9$)
SB checks, I check, Button bets 5$. I folded :/

I feel like I misplayed the hand but I'm not sure what I should do and where.
Anyone call getting 2.8 to 1 on this board? (which is doublesuited btw and could get me into trouble. I only have 2 outs to the nuts)

Thanks

I have no problem with the way you played this one. Flop bet is good and turn check is good also. I don't think there's any merit to continue semi-bluffing with this board and against two players.

I know, I know, 6-tabling, plus I just sat down

Please teach me how to 6-table 6-max...I can barely keep up with four tables...

Thanks for the reply (and to the other thread too)

I usually bet my draw here too, but I would probably check this one:
1. With 5 to the flop, your fold equity is nil
2. There's a superior draw out there, and some of your outs may not be clean

Depending on the action though, I might semi-bluff the turn on a non-[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Much better fold equity, and if you hit the river you're much better disguised.

As far as I can see there are several good reasons to raise draws.

1.Swell the pot for later value bets if you hit

Yup your bet does do this althought you have to worry about your [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] outs because they could put you in real trouble

2.Disguise your hand

Yup you do this as well, most OESDs wouldn't raise up front. However the value of this is vastly reduced by the fact your opponents are not accurately putting you on hands.

3.Gain a free card on the turn

No chance here because you're OOP. In fact you do the opposite with opponents more likely to bet if you lead the flop then show weakness on the turn.

4.Take the pot right away with the worst hand

Again very little chance with 2 other players the bet being only $2. Hands that are likely to come along are Q-x, Tx, two clubs, AJ and even A-x and 7-x if people are loose.

So all in all I don't think the bet is worth making. The good thing about your draw is that any Opp with a good hand will be looking for clubs so your OESD could slip under the radar. However by keeping the pot small on the flop you give yourself easier pot odds/implied odds decisions on the turn

It's only 2 villians in the hand ("5 players to the flop" was a copy mistake, my bad.).
It's me on the BB against SB and Button limper.

Doh! Should have looked more carefully. Still, I'd check more often than not. If I lead the flop I would lead for full pot. Building the pot isn't really your concern, you want to fold your opponents with a flop bet.

If I had bet the flop, then I would check the turn as you did. If someone prices me out of my draw at that point, so be it. Tough to play a draw OOP multiway.
