Default NY Times breaking story...........

....according to MSNBC @ 10pm tonight, 10/24......

VP Dick Cheney put Valerie Plame's name into circulation a month before Novak brought it up......

George Tenant supposedly the source of this info to Cheney......

Did Cheney knowlingly feed this info downstream for exposure of Plame?

Being discussed real time at this moment on MSNBC.

Wait, so, Chaney knew about someone leaking her name, before her name came out to the public? Am I understanding this correctly?

This whole thing confuses the hell out of me.

I don't think so. I think that the implication is that it was from Cheney that Libby first heard Plame's name?

Agreed......That's why I think that this might be a very interesting week.

If I understand things right the conversation between Cheney and Libbey was perfectly legal and doesn't implicate the VP at all. What it does is contradict Libbey's reported testimoney that he got the information from a reporter.

IMO the only way this story really becomes a big deal is if The President does not immediately get the resignations of anyone indicted.

I heard on righty(I think it was Tony Snow but I'm not sure) radio today that Pres. Bush should promote the people that are indicted. This is if they are indicted for obstuction of justice or prejury. This was one of "the Neo Cons" talking points today.

This might be interesting if you'd left out the cheap shot ("righty") and bothered to remember who tha hell made the comment rather than your next shot ("the Neo Cons").

Understand, though, this is just my opinion.

I've got another opinion but it's not really appropriate.
