General question about casino bonuses

Can someone explain to me how to best take advantage of these? I've been doing poker bonuses for a while now, but feel like I'm missing out on a lot of free money by not jumping into the casino whoring as well. My question is, though, is it possible to earn these bonuses without losing a ton? My understanding is that most sites require you to wager some x money times the bonus amount to earn it, but don't you run the risk of losing a lot just playing a bunch of -EV games? Or is the bonus amount usually more than enough to compensate from the small amount you risk earning it? What wagers are the least risky to play? I've heard some say blackjack, but I don't know anything about playing optimal blackjack -- do you have to be an experienced player to do this successfully?

I felt the same way last week. I researched it and gave it a try. I made a $100 deposit at Planetluck and Starluck. The Java no download version doesn't work- so I missed out on the lowest HA game. So-I played multi-hand (3 hands) at PlanetLuck strictly adhereing to the WOD hand guide. I busted out at $2 / bet. It was VERY boring and discouraging to see the dealer make hand, after hand, after hand..... I still have my $100 at Starluck and I think I'm going to withdrawal it. You should find plenty of information about it at Bonuswhores. As far as the secrecy you'll encounter- lol. I don't see myself cracking into their windfall of bonus' anytime soon. I found some of the guides they don't want anyone to have-lol- what a joke. I'm sure others have had a more positive experience-- I may just have an initial bad taste in my mouth.

Don't give up. The best bonuses are hugely +EV. Starluck is a great bonus, I wouldn't give that one up.

For starters, there is definitely some easy money available in casino whoring. Check out the Beginners Guide at www.CasinoBonusPages.com for all the beginner info. I only advocate this site because it has more info than any other I have found, they have a good database of casinos with all the bonus info and best games available and such. Bonus Whores has some good info as well, but honestly, some of the posters can be pretty nasty to newbs. The guy who runs CasinoBonusPages is pretty responsive if you have any newb questions, as are most of the posters here. If you still need help just send me a message. I have been hitting casinos for about 2 years now so I can answer a lot of questions.
