Essential STT tools?
New to this forum, sorry if this has been posted over and over again.
Starting to play SNGs seriously and have done pretty well so far. I know that the cash game pros use PAHUD when they play, but what about the serious STT players? What tools do they use always and frequently during their play? Thanks! |

Re: Essential STT tools?
I don't think many SNG pros use HUDs, but I could be wrong. I've just started to use MTH which is a nice little tool.

I keep hearing about SNGPT. Is that really helpful?

Re: Essential STT tools?
Most definitely, but not during play. It's something you use to study bubble play and push/fold scenarios. Definitely worth the money if your pushbotting strategy isnt already perfect.

Re: Essential STT tools?
Ok, I am a tool junkie. I have bought all the tools. Here is what you need:
Poker Tracker ( add a postresql database) SNGPT HOH 1&2 2 monitors capable of 1600x1200 and a dual display video card setup. If you are prone to RSI like me, you need: Evoluent vertical mouse 2 2001fp lcds neoflex lcd arms height adjustable desk MTH Joystick Keyboard with numberpad Fully adjustable chair You don't need: Pokeroffice SNG tracker That super excel spreadsheet If you play higher than the $22's, you need PAHUD. Otherwise, you don't. You may want to plan for a different lcd setup, keeping in mind that Party will likely allow 12 tabling very shortly with the new beta. |
