Rate my JJ fold on scary flop
I'm at work at the moment and don't have the hand history, so you'll have to bear with me.
I'm dealt JJ in early position and open-raise. Three cold-callers behind, blinds fold. Flop is AKQ rainbow. I check, and it's raised and re-raised behind me. This is a clear fold, correct? |

Re: Rate my JJ fold on scary flop
Just my luck, a J falls on the turn and a blank at the river. The winner shows KJ for two pair and takes down a nice pot. Oh well.
Thanks. |

Very clear fold. The re-raised makes it crystal clear. |

Re: Rate my JJ fold on scary flop
I don't know if it is so clear. You will be getting close to 8:1 to stay in if all 4 players call the re-raise. No one re-raised you pre-flop so there is a good chance you have the biggest pocket pair so if a J falls your set may be good and if a ten falls the worst you can do is split. Is it correct to fold if the best you think you can do is split a big pot? I know it's all about the aggression so would a 3-bet be right here? I play mostly .25/.50 on Party where every raise is a chance to suckout with T2o so I probably wouldn't raise here, but I don't know that a call is the worst play in the world.
