Calling too many big bets
I have been on a long breakeven stretch and think that I might be calling too many big street bets without a read. Tell me if this hand is retarded or standard please as I am not sure which way is up right now:
8-handed 20/40. I open raise in MP with J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Both blinds call. SB is a super loose passive tard, no PT stats or read on BB as he just sat down. Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] check, check, I bet, SB folds, BB calls. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB bets, I call. River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB bets, I call After the hand I thought that raising the turn and taking a free showdown or folding to a 3-bet was probably the best line. Mucking the turn is way too weak without a read, or is it? Thanks, tpir |
