Default Will be at Tulalip or Muckleshoot (Seattle) 2/5, 2/6, anyone going?

First off - thanks to everyone for the detailed responses about Seattle area poker. I called around as well just to see what was being played where, and have decided I'll either be at the Muckleshoot or Tulalip Saturday afternoon/night and Sunday afternoon.

I'm guessing it'll be Muck on Saturday and Tulalip on Sunday for their tournament. I'm not ruling out the Diamond Lil's tournament, just depends on how late I'm out Saturday.

If anyone's planning to head out that way, please send me a PM tonight (I'll be on the plane tomorrow).

Saturday I'll be wearing a light blue t-shirt w/ grey neckline and jeans.

Sunday most likely jeans and a olive green collared short sleeve shirt. But that's thinking clothing way too far ahead for me.

Short brown hair, combed back, pale white guy in my mid-20s. Answering to Al, Alex, hey you, most anything else.

Sheez that feels like a horrible singles ad. My wife's gonna kill me .

Al

Yeah. I was there today as were bernie and slavic. Also, you should have said hi stabn; I'm not sure if we've met.

I saw bernie but i'm not sure i saw you. I did hear your name called at one point when two people were getting seated in the 20-40 game, but neither player was anything like what i pictured you as. I was going to stop by and ask bernie who you were but never got around to it.

Default Re: The weekend/short version trip report

It turned out that I ended up at Tulalip on Saturday afternoon/night, Diamond Lil's for the tournament, and the Muck during the Super Bowl.

I ended up changing it around after realizing how close the Muck was to the airport and how much easier it'd be to return my car from there rather than from Tulalip.

Tulalip was nice, smoke free cardrooms are excellent . I played 3/6, and was dealt KK in the first round, which lost substantially when my trips turn also gave someone the nut straight. Fortunately, this was The Most Passive Game Ever at the time, so I didn't lose as much as I should've. A few good hands, and I was able to turn the session around quickly though, people looked me up in all the wrong spots. Ended up around 22 BB for the 4 hour session (was just too tired to play more), even with being sucked out on the river my final two hands.

Diamond Lil's - had a blast at the tournament. Doubled up early and never had to rebuy. Added on (1200 chips for $20 is a great deal there), and petered around until about 5 tables remained, with my stack dwindling. I moved in on the button w/ KJo (only had 8x the BB), and sucked out a J against AKs to stay alive. At 3 tables, I moved in w/ KK, called by A3, to see an Ace flop, and a beautiful K hit the turn and stay alive. With a few blind steals, I was able to make the final table, and we ended up making a 6-way split. The chip leaders wanted to watch the superbowl, and they had substantial advantages (40x BB each, other 4 of us had 4-6x BB). Since they wanted to leave quickly, I proposed a split which gave them each slightly over 2nd, and the other 4 of us slightly less than 3rd. 6th place was $370, and I was more than happy to trade my tiny stack in for $745. Profit after tips from tounament - $655, my biggest session/tournament win to date

The Muck - Wow, this place was loose, but more agressive (somewhat) than Tulalip. I only played a few hours of 3-6, where I proceeded to get lots of overcards. People stayed with any piece of the board, which would've been sweet, but I was running cold. Dropped 13 BB, called it a night, and returned the call.

Total from ring games +$50
Tournaments +$655
Random guy in Vegas stopover +$10

For someone still playing .50/1, that'll do, that'll do .

Thanks to everyone that suggested these places, I really enjoyed all 3. Next time I'll have them page Sup Bro to the counter

Al

P.S. My interview went well also, I think, so hopefully they'll make a good offer and I'll be moving out to Seattle in the near future.

Just an FYI. The female who got 1/2 of that huge 2nd place money split? That was the first time she ever played where money was involved . She only went because she wanted to be supportive of her boyfriends hobbies (who busted out around 40th i think).

I wasn't able to make it tonight. (fri) So I'm going to try and make it up there on Sat.

Black hat/Gray bill. Caesars Palace logo on it. Perched usually on an end seat on the 10-20. (see vitual muckleshoot for the shot of my usual table)

I'll be at muck tonight. Was there last night too. I'll try to say hi if I can find you based on that description. Any idea what game you'll be playing? I guess you mon't see this though since it's already saturday. I'm not sure how things are going to be tomorrow because there is apparently some sort of big sporting event on television. Does that usually hurt attendance in the poker games? It will keep me away, anyway.
