Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...
From what I understand you have to keep the HH window open for it to work. It will only pick up new HH's as they are loaded into the HH. If you close it by mistake you have to manually pull up all the hands you missed so that ultimate history will copy them to your PC.

You do have to leave the hand history windows open. I just shrink them and stick them in the lower corner where they dont get in my way.

Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...
Hey Zaxx,
Are you talking about the new UB History tool that you use while playing? I'm going to tell you step by step and ignore the parts that you know...I'm assuming that you have UB open. 1. Start the UB History Tool 2. Go to the preferences and make sure you are pointing to the correct directory ( I break my directories on a month by month basis) 3. Click the "Play" button on the UB History tool 4. Start the Table that you want to play. 5. Click the HH button on the open UB table. You should now see in the UB History Tool a line that says "<Table> Hand number #### saved" or something like that 6. Sit down at the Table and start playing. You can leave the table and start other tables and they should show up in UB History tool. Then you can import them in PT as usual. I hope this helps. -Gryph |

To clarify one point:
You have to open and leave open the hand history window for each new table you sit at. |

Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...
Sweet guys thnx a ton...anyway to keep my hh window from popping up every hand? Why cant it just stay minimized?
P.S. Do Ineed gametime or poker view so I can see my opponents rankings real time at the table? Seems like there is some ways you guys can do that and it seems like that would be really helpful. Plz excuse my PT illiteracy I just started to use it and suprisingly am getting very little help in the software forum. I guess my ?? are too low brow for those guys... |

Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...
Zaxx,
I dont minimize, I shrink the window - make it as small as possible and drag it to the corner of the desktop, otherwise it will keep popping back up every hand. I use Gametime+ for (almost) real time stats. So my standard MO at UB is 1. launch the game and sit down 2. launch Ultimate History and click the arrow 3. open and shrink the hand history window 4. launch Pokertracker and set auto import hand histories (1 minute timer) 5. launch gametime+ 6. wait a few hands for the database to be updated, then click the + button to add the current table to Gametime. Up pops an overlay to my UB window (full screen not minview). The first time you use Gametime, you'll have to drag the names and stats to where you want them on the window. In the future, gametime will put the stats in the same relative places. Good Luck! |

Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...
I don't think there is anyway to keep the HH from popping up all the time unfortunately. If there is I would love to hear about it. Before I realized you could change options so you have to click on the game screen to type comments I wrote some pretty funny stuff in the dialog box while playing at work.
I only use mini-view at work but I am pretty sure gametime plus works on the full table view. |
