Default Was I chasing terribly or a method to chasing? PLO8 Tournament

Ok, so it's early in the tournament, and these things don't fare well unless you accumulate some chips.

Flop: I have TP (worthless, but perhaps a blocker) with a 2nd nut flush draw and 2nd nut low draw, eek. Initial call is fine, but what about the potraise and call after? I'd tend to think A2xx might be raised pf, but I'm not familiar with Paradise players in PLO8, only Party for the most part. I can't think the 2nd raise is the nut low draw, I'd think it'd be something like top or middle set. Is this a terrible call 3-handed?

Turn: Ok so add a gutshot to that equation, I can easily get away from this with plenty of chips left but no, I shove. Honestly I get deep in a lot of these tourneys but don't go far enough because I'm short, and I would enjoy an early shot at a big scoop here, with some low insurance. Just tell me I'm a bonehead and a moron if that's the case.

It's a terrible chase because sometimes at best you're 50/50 against the set, and the other times, you're in big trouble against a set and a better low and flush draw.

If you feel you need to double through, this is a fine flop to take a shot at it on, however, the turn is where you need to back off when it blanks.

Lets look at the flop action, a guy bets out, you call(so far I like it), second guy calls(you gotta reconsider your draw here as his call can mean a lot of things), third guy raises(not good), first bettor calls(which means he probably had a good draw), You call(why?), other caller folds.

The problem with the call on the flop is that there was a lot of betting and calling and you have a hand that is middle of the road. The first call is fine, but then a second guy calls, at this point you have to think either your flush or low draw is worthless. Then a guy raises and the original bettor calls. He bet out then called, this means a very strong draw most of the time. You should probably bail out not only because he seems to have a strong draw, but there is a guy behind you who appears to also have a draw. At this point you can be sure that if the guy behind you calls neither of your draws is any good because two people are chasing, which means the nut flush draw and nut low draw has to be out there, plus a guy is betting. You had to fold on the flop, looking at their crap hands and saying see I was a favorite is just being results oriented, would it have made you feel better if they showed you Ad2d? Just wait for a better spot.

Chasing here is not a good idea, it doesnt matter if its the beginning of a tournament, your getting ready to chunk off a decent amount of ur stack for a draw that even if u hit u stil may not be good. Here is your main problem: calling UTG and then a raise UTG PF, this hand (if u do decide to call PF) either u flop the nuts or check/fold, you have no position and u get into the problems that u got into
