Affiliates bring new players into the game, which is vital to the continued growth of the industry. I don't think that Party wants to rely exclusively on advertising to sign up new players.

also, can people expand on the risks?

i have a signup code in my email box from one of the more visible affiliates. if i sign up with them and they get shut down, what happens to me?

in what way? would they keep the money in my account? if they close the account and i'm able to get my money out then i haven't lost anything
