Default Which tickets?

I am a huge Padres fan. Besides that, I am a huge Charger fan (I grew up in San Diego). Clearly my teams don't make the playoffs that often, so I need to take advantage of any oppurtunity. I am going to buy tickets to one of the NLDS games, the question is just which game?

Advantages of game 3 are: It will happen no matter what (sweeps), and it will be the first playoff game in Petco's history. Should be fun times.

Advantages of game 4: My 21st birthday, and Peavy is slated to start (not sure against who). Peavy is my favorite player and has the ability to win a game by himself.

Putting yourself in my shoes, which game do you buy tickets for?

Edit: Both isn't an option due to another commitment I need to fulfill that weekend.

Both. If not both, then Game 3 for sure.

The probability of San Diego being swept by St. Louis is very high. Buy tickets to the only game that's guaranteed. This is of course assuming the Astros don't choke away the WC.

I would rather take the chance of seeing Peavy tie the series or win it in Game 4, on your bday, then watch Game 3 where you have a good chance to be pretty pissed off when they get swept.

Would you rather go and watch the Padres get swept or have a chance to see Peavy carry the team to game 5 or a series win?

Get game 4 tickets. Peavy is awesome and a chance to watch him dominate and either send the series to game 5 or win the series would be great.

In 1999 I had Yankee tickets for Game 5 of the Div Series, Game 6 of the ALCS and Game 5 of the WS. They won in 3, 5 and 4.

Take game 3.

Easily game 3. Early birthday presents are better than no birthday presents.

Buy tickets for both games and scalp one off depending on if there's going to be a game 4 or not.

If it's Cards/Braves 2-0, go because the Padres are probably getting swept. If it's Padres 2-0, you can't miss the Padres having a chance to sweep a vastly superior team.

1-1, go with game 4 because it's your birthday.
