Poll: 76 in BB

Since my other poll post got more feedback than all my other posts combined, I will do the same for this hand.

Full Tilt $10/$20 NL - 6 handed
Each player involved has at least $1500 behind.

Hero is in BB with 76o

The next player makes his standard opening raise of $70. This could maen anything. Any pair, broadway, suited connector, possibly a random hand in the cutoff
The button calls, and I have never played with him before.
The SB calls, who plays semi-loose and likes to make plays postflop.

Any other input is appreciated.

I'm folding this. If it was suited, I'd probably call, or maybe 76o in position. It's going to be hard to hit a flop, and really hard to bluff from first position.

i think a call will be fine here, although you will have to give up most flops, you are getting 4.6-1 on your call here, and your implied odds are through the roof if you hit a great flop. a call is heavily dependant on your post flop play and the players involved, it depends on if you think you will get paid off if you catch a superb flop.

It might be better if you knew the button had to have a solid hand to call. Then if you hit you could be assured of being paid off.

With that much behind, you can call with a lot of hands. Doesn't mean you should, but you certainly can.

It depends, as always, on personal style. If you're seen as either very LAG OR very TAG this is a EV+ play imo. Either way, I think it helps to be big stacked with lots of gears of play. (but that applies to every post ever made, so ignore my sleepless ranting...)
OP- it is correct to do either, so long as it fits your overall game plan. If you've been playing tight and want to shift to fifth, doing so here with either a big hit on the flop (or just a big flop that is good for bluffing at...) you could get paid off a whole stack. If you're LAG and hit a real hand you'll also get paid. If you miss and read strength by their play, it's easy to let go of. "Being dominated" is only a matter of perspective.
Also, if you just want to let this one go, so be it. You lose 20 bucks and don't get tangled in any messy pots where you're out of position and potentially sinking fast.

What are the odds of flopping a good hand with 76o? Also what constitutes a good flop? Naturally any straight or boat would be good, but how is 67X, 45X, 89X (X here being a likely card to hit your opponent, Jack to Ace).

If you flop an oesd, do you come out with a small blocking bet, or what?

I voted call, but I tend to play those connectors really poorly and I would guess they are some pretty big money losers for me.
