Default Hand 2 against DERB

I was planning on 4 betting if raised on the flop but checking any non-heart overcard on the turn.

did you just call in the BB with T5s to a MP1 raise?

obviously the call with T5s is highly questionable, but I'm not too concerned here. What I'm concerned about is that you didn't get the maximum here. Check raise the turn. Or check raise the river.

I guess I'm a little looser in my blinds than you Gents. Especially against an opponent who could cap a couple streets with just an overpair.

I thought in retrospect I should have cr'd the river.

I think you should bet this river vs DERB. He will also raise if he an A. Conversely, he's most likely will not bet with a weak hand. DERB isn't too aggressive at the river.

[/ QUOTE ]no way. if derb made aces you can possibly get three bets in... in this hand he prob had 55 and couldnt even pay off the river... i guess hed have to put you on K9.

the way this hand played, you are soo not inducing a bluff here.

I play this just the same, although I fold pf against a real tight player, I understand Mr DERB has a wider opening range. I'm getting 3:1 for my complete so it's worth seeing the flop.
The rest of the hand is kind of boring
