Default The art of retouching

Everyone knows that photos in Playboy, Maxim, etc... are retouched, but this site shows the dramatic differences between the before and after shots.

Some of the women are pretty nasty looking in the before shots...

This stuff pisses me off. No wonder so many perfectly normal women hate the way they look.

this is nothing....some of these women are well-known and cannot be changed too dreatically without someone calling "foul."

My friend Dave is a fashion photog. and I have seen him in action on photoshop - changing a girl's eyes with someone elses, giving a girl smoother skin, bigger tits, no cellulite, etc....it's amazing.

When he worked for Playboy, he got into a huge argument with them over a certain Playmate - Nicole Lenz. She's a very pretty girl but she happens to have a lot of freckles - all over her face and body. Nothing wrong with that for most guys, right? Well, when David saw what the Playboy retouchers did, he threw a fit and vowed to never work for them again.

Nicole was completely retouched so that it looked like she had no freckles.

before (NSFW) it's hard to find a photo that isn't retouched of her, but she is covered in freckles!
after (NSFW)

I am glad you made that comment and thank you.
Women are constantly being compared to those so called "perfect women" you see in magazines which is completely absurd. Men need to get their heads out their asses and realize that the majority of women in magazines are fake.

It's not even that hard. Three mins in photoshop and viola.

Keep in mind this is the guy who is doing the retouching's website so I'm sure he is going to make the difference look as dramatic as possible. Its like any other before and after the before is meant to look as bad as possible and the after meant to look as night as possible.
