I think I paid for my copy during one of the periods when Yahoo had just changed their messaging format, making it incompatible with the old Trillian. If you were a registered user you could d/l the patch immediately, even though it hadn't been through beta, yet. The free version wasn't going to be patched for a couple of weeks. Can't live without my Trillian.

i have to use trillan b/c my connection drops non stop with AIM but not MSN or anything else [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

You have it installed, right? And, have you set up your connection(s)? Which i.m. services (AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, etc.) are you registered on?
