Default Datamining

Just planning to do some datamining with PT. Plan to start with Party and UB, Stars later.
To do this is there any issue with the poker client screen being fully opened? At this time I have a 17" CRT monitor and it is impossible to not have overlap with just 2 tables.

Flat screen, higher res. to come later.

Also, is datamining possible on Stars? Seems I read there is some issue with that.

Thanks

there's no issue with it being "fully opened". Once you open a table, you minimize it.

Could someone explain briefly what "datamining" is exactly and if it would be beneficial for sit n go's. I have PT and HUD. How do you datamine?

Thanks

Default Datamining Example

Let's say for example...
That you are on the SNG learning curvce...
And you are playing Party $22 SNGs.

Start datamining the Party $22s...
In other words...
Open up 4 games you are not playing around Level 1...
And start collecting about 30-50 tournies/day...
Or about 1000/month.

Now in addition to analysing your personal stats...
You can:

(1) See how your doing versus the field.

(2) Focus on several "winning players" off the Party Leaderboard and see how they do it.

(3) After at least 50-100 tournies... collect 20-30 tournies for several Leaderboard players... by using search... and compare stats.

(4) You will see major differences in your game versus "winning players".

(5) There is SOME variation in styles among "winning players"... but not a great deal.

(6) Work towards making your stats strongly resemble
the Leaderboard PLayer stats a few months from now.

With this approach...
You feel much more in control of your progress towards nirvana...
Then if you're just reading the right books...
And staring at your own stats.

Best of luck...
