Default 20/40 hand

20/40 hand at Borgata. All fold to me in MP with 99. I raise. Two guys flat call and the BB calls.

Flop is 9d8d5x.

BB checks, I bet and all call.

Turn is Qd.

BB checks, I decide to check with the hope of getting to the showdown for 2 more bets. There is a bet, a fold, BB folds and I call.
River is 2d and I check-fold . . .

Michael

I hope this is a joke. Bet your hand and don't fear monsters under the bed. Many people would raise the flop with a flush draw and you have many outs in the event someone has made one (or a straight). A free card would be a disaster. Your hand can stand a raise if it comes and is still likely best.
