Default Hand from 20+2 huge overbet

Blinds are still at 10\20.

Here are the three revelant stacks in this hand.
UTG - 380.
UTG+1 - 4800.
Hero is in BB with 2100

UTG moves all in for 380. UTG +1 raise all in for 4800.

I am in bb with 99. Do you call this overbet.

no, too early to risk it, and your position is fine in relation to the blinds. Fold it.

What kind of range do you put the UTG +1 on to make this kind of play

I can tell you some hands I don't put him on: A8 and 66. The only hands I could conceivably put him on that you dominate are 77 or 88, and even those would shock me. Much more likely you are either 50/50 or a big dog. UTG has a similar range, though he'll sometimes have something like KQ, which is still not great for you. Calling here would be a high-variance play with a very low, quite possibly negaive EV.

Some things to consider. We have been playing less than 15 minutes and he has tripled his chips. He was not at my table for this so either the deck hit him in the mouth or he has some gamble. As far as hand range, it is hard for me to think someone would play AA or KK this way.

Do you want to risk it all to know if you are a big dog or 50/50?

I agree AA or KK are not very likely but QQ,JJ, and 10-10 are very likely and this is what I think he has.

Also, if he his very bad, take his chips when you are in a better position.

This bet is almost never aces or kings, but honesly, there are better spots against this guy. He looks like hes protecting a semistrong hand that you're either way behind or slightly ahead of. I woulndt gamble in this spot. If hes crazy enough to make this bet, hes going to stack off eventually. Be around for it.

With no read on utg+1, I fold.
