Default Showers...

Came up during a random conversation me and MEbenhoe had while at Canterbury earlier tonight...note two normal college students, 19 (him) and 20.

We both agreed while talking about how messed up our schedules are, that a nice long shower is a perhaps one of the college student's better luxuries. Sure, the dorms suck. Sure, the food sucks. Sure, your professors suck. But taking a 30-minute shower and not worrying about hot water running out, even sometimes almost falling asleep (and sometimes drinking a beer)...that's great.

MEbenhoe: "Showers are my second favorite thing in the world to do."

Agreed. Discuss.

Hehe, he told me about one of his first posts ever here ending up with you, Ed, and Mason all on his case. Got a good laugh out of that. Yesterday at Canterbury was the first time I ever met the guy (he dragged Schneids out of his apartment to play some)...good times. Apparently he tried to introduce a rock into his 3/6 game and not even the dealer knew what the hell he was talking about.

half the shower heads were always gone due to theft at any given time in my dorm, so we were not afforded the luxury or your 30 minute showers.

Mmmm... I do indeed love a nice long shower more than most things in the world. The showerheads in my dorm are complete trash, though... I'm thinking of buying my own.

Not to mention the fact that I have a very small range of temperatures in which I'm comfortable showering, and the flush of a toilet raises the shower temperature at least 10 degrees. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
