Default Any advice on my progress

I've been playing 0.05/0.10 on PokerStars for five weeks.

I keep records of my results on MS Excel. After 4.5k hands my average BB per hour is +1.74. My session BB wins/losses come in the range -20 and 20.

I started playing following WLLH and switched to SSHE three weeks ago.

I'm planning to do 10k hands at 0.05/0.10 and if I'm still making progress to go on to 0.25/0.50 for a further 10k hands.

Any advice would be welcome.

Just one thing: while you probably know enough to beat this limit handily, provided that you've learned the contents of the books you mentioned, you're probably also running good. (+1.74 BB/hr is about 3 BB/100 hands, about right for an experienced player beating the game. But unless you've learned very very fast, your long-term winrate probably isn't quite there yet. Thus I figure you're probably beating the game, but also running slightly good.)

So my advice is, the downswing will come sooner or later, so don't let it get you down. Just keep playing as you've learned and you'll be fine.

You are on the right track it looks like! The amount of hands is definately not enough to say for sure anything, but a great start.

Keep plugging away!
