Default Call with QJ or get blinded off

3 tables left. Final table gets paid.
Blinds are 1000 - 2000. I am BB with 4000 left after posting.

It is folded to CO, who raises all-in to 10,000. He raised all-in on the previous hand and no one called. Folded to me and I have QJ offsuit.

Do I call here, likely being an underdog, or fold and leave myself with very few chips?

Easy call with pretty much any two. You're getting >2:1 against a raise you seem to believe is a steal.

I'd call, be elated to see 84o only to lose when the river pairs villains 4

Seriously, no choice here, gotta call with any 2

What about folding and waiting for a better hand? I would have another 10 hands before I get completely blinded out.

If you're trying to win, you can't let yourself get "completely blinded out" or even come close.
The less often you have all your chips in the middle, the less likely you are to be knocked out.

You will not make the final table playing like that. Like said above CO likely does not have a premium hand. That means QJ is at least 50% chance to win. So you have a shot now, where you know you have good odds, to go to 13K. If you fold this hand and your SB, you have 3K left. So maybe you find a spot where you have a little better chnace to win, now if you double you only get like 7K. And maybe that hand doesn't come and you get your chips in with worse odds than you're getting now.

Dead:

equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)

Hand 1: 42.0742 % [ 00.41 00.01 ] { QJo }
Hand 2: 57.9258 % [ 00.56 00.01 ] { AA-22, AKs-A2s, KQs-K2s, QJs-QTs, JTs, AKo-A2o, KQo-K2o, QJo-QTo, JTo }

Easy call with pot odds even if villian is only pushing with top 50% kinda hands.
