Nice, more no vig SnGs.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you're talking about the new $1 S&Gs, they actually have a $.20 entry fee. Players get 1 FPP for each $1 S&G they play.

Silly Lee. We're talking about how we can work off the bonus with SnGs, so basically it's just you guys paying us back for the entry fees.

Thanks for more bonuses!

I think he means that with the FPPs earned toward the bonus, the vig on SnGs is equaled by the bonus money earned (or in the case of the $5 games, exceeded).

Just another reason to play your SnGs at Stars!

I never played on Stars, are the bonuses easy to clear...It seems they are how they explain them. I play lower limits, .50/1.00.

At the .5/1 tables --you need a pot of $10 to get 1 FPP.More difficult at this level but doable. Also the bonuses do not expire and can lay in your account until you get around to it and/or happen to move to a higher level.

carlo

Here's the scoop-
[ QUOTE ]

One (1) Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing in each raked game when the rake reaches:

* $0.50 for fixed limit games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
* $0.75 for fixed limit games with stakes $1/$2
* $1.00 for pot limit games, no limit games, and fixed limit games with stakes $2/$4 and higher

2. Earn Points for Tournament Play

Five (5) FPPs are awarded for each $1 in tournament fees paid.

For example, in a tournament with $20 buy-in and $2 tournament fee, each player will be awarded 10 FPPs.

Partial Frequent Player Points are always rounded up to the nearest whole number.

For example, in a $5 buy-in Sit & Go tournament with only a $0.50 fee, 3 FPPs (instead of 2.5) will be awarded to each player in this tournament.

FreePlay tournaments do not award FPPs. These tournaments are completely free to play and as such are not part of the PokerStars FPP program

[/ QUOTE ]

It will take longer at .5/1 (unless you are on a wild table that plays a lot of bigger pots), but you can eventually get it done. As has been pointed out, there is no expiration on the bonus, so you can clear it at your leisure.

The SnG format on Stars is vastly superior to Party. At least it was the last time I played Party.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have to agree with this. I think it's almost double the starting chips (Stars 1500 to Partys 800), with the blinds starting at the same level. Also, I think the blinds increase slower at Stars. At Party it's every 10 hands, where at Stars it's every 10 minutes.

When (what time?) did this bonus period start?.

I withdrew from Stars this morning... I want to know if I disqualified myself with this withdrawal.
