What the hell's wrong with Super/System?

At least 80% of that material is as appropriate today as it was in 1977.

Dannenmann is a fish at his weekly home game and has a real job.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where'd you hear that from?

[/ QUOTE ]

A poster here at 2+2 plays in his home game. He said Dannenmann was a great guy and just loves to play and have fun while slamming large amounts of alcohol.

Brent Barry is the man. I gotta change it to a met since BBall season is over, but I'm too lazy...actually its probably more shame than laziness.

I liked Tiffany's interview. She seemed humble and friendly.

I agree. She did not seem like she was "happy" to finish where she did, 17th or whatever. I find it slightly laughable that she thinks her game "improved" by playing against tough players. What difference does it make who you play against if you limit your preflop actions to folding and all-in?

Also there was no mention at all of 2+2 in her interview. Reading SSH does not mean you are a 2+2er.

And she didn't take 20 minutes to answer each question.

Default 40 minutes into 10 handed

So by my count, after 40 minutes or so, they've played 20 hands, seen four flops, and no turns.

i liked her interview as well. i'm positive her game improved, we did not see every single hand played. as mentioned before, for lack of experience she made up by playing all in or fold em...you only get better by playing against the best. is she the next ivey? doubtful...is she the next brunson? no way...but i'm sure her game improved, she only started in october 2004?

Hand 21 - Andrew Black has the button in seat 2, Matusow raises to $220,000, Lazar calls, Hachem calls, Black calls, Barch calls, and Alsancak calls. There's no respect for Mike Matusow's raise, as six players see the flop on the ever-tightening TV bubble of the Championship Event at the World Series of Poker.

The flop comes Kh-Qd-9h, everyone checks to Black on the button, who bets $1,000,000. One by one, the other players fold, forfeiting the pot to Andrew Black. Andrew Black shows 10-8 offsuit as he collects the pot. The crowd hoots and hollers, and Tournament Director Johnny Grooms says, "There's a little bit of poker going on here, folks."

They're letting Black run away w/ this thing.
