Default Under 21 in Vegas

I've heard that most Vegas cardrooms dont ID that regularly, and have subsequently planned a trip out to LV in a couple of weeks with some of my 21+ friends.

I have a decent fake ID, but it may not work too well out there considering its a massachusetts liquor license, and not a drivers license.

I was wondering if anyone had advice on which cardrooms are more lenient then others, whether the whole idea is terrible, things to look out for or places to stay away from, etc.

read every other millionth thread on the subject.

the basic deal is -

as long as you arent participating in large buyin tournaments and as long as the fake id is reasonably good (it passes liquor stores in the state that it is issued), you are more than fine just about anywhere and have zero to worry about.

if you dont have an id or a terrible one like an old style new jersey...you shouldnt even bother to try. (i know it doesnt apply to you but it should be a canned answer to everyone else that asks)

its actually funny....if you are college aged and try to go to any of the bars on landsdowne in boston (street bordering fenway) even with a legit old style NJ license they will refuse you entry

Don't use a fake in a casino. It's not worth the risk of going to jail.

If you are carded ... say you left your ID in your car/room/whatever, leave and go somewhere else.

Only poker room I've been ID'ed at in Vegas was at Monte Carlo.

I usually play at Bellagio and they never ID. If they ask, just say you forgot it in your room.
