2/4 KJs speeding, raised on the river
2/4 6-max
Hero is new to the table. All stacks are about 400. Hero is Hijack with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain is button Preflop folded to hero, who makes it 14 to go, villain calls. Flop (35) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets 35, villain calls Turn (105) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks (I think I was planning to check-raise here, but check-call might have been the real plan, who knows ), villain checks. River (105) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets 55, villain makes it 160 to go .... this confused the hell out of me ... whats the plan ? |

Re: 2/4 KJs speeding, raised on the river
I fold. No draws on the flop, so when he calls he has a pair or a K.
He may be making a move with something like 99 on the river, but you hardly played it strong so he may well think he's good with that type of hand anyway & just call. 3-1 is nice odds but I don't think he bluff re-raises nearly enough given this action to make it worthwhile calling. |
