Default Can we derive this stat?

Bet:Check ratio on the turn when heads up with position? I think this would be a very useful metric. Is there an easy way to use PT to figure this out?

Not without reparsing the hand histories.

couldn't this be done by something grabbing info directly from the PT database? what is not already being captured that would be needed to derive this stat?

i just looked at the PT tables and I think the info is there actually. there are tfold/tcheck/tbet/traise/tcall/tpossible_action columns that should tell us everything we need to know to derive this

That info is good, but filtering it for when villain is in position is the tricky part. It's can be done when villain is on the button, but it's harder in any other spot.

no problem there is also an off_the_button column. if my.off_the_button < his.off_the_button we are in position.

I didn't remember those and didn't have database available. I retract my statement.

I think if we all knew this number for ourselves it would help us figure out if we bet/check the turn too much. I'm gonna bump this when I get home and hopefully you, or someone will be able to explain exactly how to extract/filter this info from pt.

This stat would be awesome. I'll crosspost this in the PokerAce forum.
