Re: This one had me confused.
First, Villain is playing shortstacked, so either he is awful, or is a good shortstack player who has recently joined.
OK, assuming that villain is reasonable, I really don't like your check-raise here, because by doing so, if you are called or reraised, you are pot-commited even though you might have the worst hand. I think leading the flop is much better. If stacks were deeper, I think your check-raise on the flop would have been fine. |

Re: This one had me confused.
Maybe he read you as a LAG who would double him up by bluffing with the 2nd nut flush and a pair?

Re: This one had me confused.
Possibilities:
1) He had a set and thought he might lose your action by reraising the flop; 2) He had aces and will never fold them headsup no matter how the board comes when it doesn't help him; 3) He had aces and suspected a checkraise on the come by you and again wanted to keep you in and see if a draw got there on the turn before committing the rest of his stack. |

Re: This one had me confused.
What part confused you? The part where you check-raise a weak hand on the flop and then commit the rest on the turn?
