Default Value bet the river? $200NL - 6 max

No read on MP, but thats not the issue.
SB - VP$IP of 69.86 through 1100+ hands

Should I check it down here with the scary river card?

The main mistake in this hand is not betting more on the turn. About $60-$70 seems good. Get money in the pot with the nuts.

As you played it I would bet about $50 on the river.

Turn is awful. Bet 1/2 -2/3 pot on river.

Looking at stacks, I'd bet about $50 on the turn. This leaves you with $100 for the river.

Two reasons I made the small turn bet.
1) SB could have anything, an 8, 6 any pocket pair and I want to just make a suck bet on the turn and on the river when the pot is big I'm going to make a bet that will look like a steal
2) my turn bet looks very weak, this gives him the chance to bluff at the possible flush on board, plus I'm thinking he has drawing dead or near dead

In hindsight I could have made a bet of $40-$50 on the turn an accomlished what I wanted to.

70 vpip fish like to see the river at any cost with any draw, even in a protected pot.

Turn bet way too small.

Your preflop raise is way to small. Make it $12 or so. Turnbet is also way to small.

A bet of $70 or so is in order on the river. If the sidepot was totally dry maybe a check would had been OK because villian "know" you will almost never bluff then.
