Stud8 spread limit

Turning stone has a 1-5 spread limit stud hi/lo game with a 1 dollar ante and a 1 dollar bring-in. The players are fairly loose. The raises on 3rd street are often $3, but the raises on all subsequent streets are almost always $5. I feel that I may have been playing too tight so far in situations where I am getting 12:1 to call on 3rd and unlikely to face a raise behind me. Are there hands I should be calling with beyond the typical good starting hands?

Any other general advice for this type of game?

i;d probably stay away from a 1$ ante game for a spread limit 1-5 game, but thats just me

Yeah I don't expect it to be all that profitable for me but I'm playing to get some live game experience as much as anything
