Possibly interesting TT hand
***** Hand History for Game 2517868454 *****
NL Texas Hold'em Trny:14748074 Level:4 Blinds (25/50) - Thursday, August 11, 17:37:27 EDT 2005 Table $2,500 Players Club Freeroll(421454) Table #42 (Real Money) Seat 10 is the button Total number of players : 10 Seat 1: wheaty13 ( $1215 ) Seat 2: gvbender1 ( $1095 ) Seat 3: ronny52 ( $905 ) Seat 4: HERO ( $4260 ) Seat 5: B_J_W ( $3120 ) Seat 6: duczduczducz ( $1550 ) Seat 7: biglou2003 ( $2405 ) Seat 9: SJS45 ( $1205 ) Seat 10: JCOBBY ( $2345 ) Seat 8: Dubble1 ( $1730 ) Trny:14748074 Level:4 Blinds (25/50) ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to HERO [ Tc Td ] ronny52 folds. HERO raises [150]. B_J_W folds. duczduczducz folds. biglou2003 folds. Dubble1 folds. SJS45 folds. JCOBBY folds. wheaty13 folds. gvbender1 calls [100]. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 4h, 3c, Kc ] gvbender1 checks. HERO checks. ** Dealing Turn ** [ 6c ] gvbender1 bets [275]. HERO ??? Ok. First off, does anyone limp with TT from EP? Second off, on the flop, I'm playing against a tricky player who has check-raised me before. So I decide to check it through and look to turn a miracle. On the turn I do improve with a flush draw, but I'm not thrilled about it. I have trouble interpreting his bet into me. It doesn't necessarily scream value bet -- it looks fairly typical and could be second pair as easily as top pair. My reasoning behind pushing was that, if I called, he would almost certainly push the river. So I couldn't get to a cheap showdown here. So I thought I could push with perhaps a modicum of FE. For me, the decision was between pushing and folding. Thoughts? |

Re: Possibly interesting TT hand
gotta bet the flop. if you *know* he's going to checkraise you, then you can feel confident that you have the best hand. Sounds like this guy has your number...

[ QUOTE ]
Sounds like this guy has your number... [/ QUOTE ] yeah, he did. in a freeroll, no less. =/ I would have bet the flop for about 250. If he C/R's allin (another ~750 to me, I think), do you call here? |

Re: Possibly interesting TT hand
I would call if check raised. Also with the line you are taking I put him all in. No one am I folding here against a tricky player with just one overcard. If he has a king good for him he will double up.

Re: Possibly interesting TT hand
I also would bet the flop here and if he comes over the top I call.
I don't limp with this hand from EP, I would raise it to 150 just like you did. |

Re: Possibly interesting TT hand
I would push the flop. I'm not folding to a check raise, so I'm gonna reduce my variance a bit and push

Re: Possibly interesting TT hand
thanks a lot for responding guys. i don't know if this is a very trivial decision, but I was confused enough that I thought it was worth posting.
