An Astute Observation
All Democrats are Liberals. No exceptions.
Half of the Democrats are openly Liberal. The other half are closet Liberals - these are the ones that are in denial of the fact that they indeed are Liberals. My prediction is that the Democratic party will splinter into these two groups in the coming years. It is inevitable. The Democratic party will no longer be a major party by the year 2015, perhaps sooner. |

Re: An Astute Observation
I'm a conservative and I have observed that Southern Democrats are much more conservative than almost any Northeastern Republican. There are exceptions of course but not all Democrats are liberal.

Re: An Astute Observation
By saying what you just said, you ARE a Liberal in denial. Again, all Democrats are Liberals. And that's that.

By saying what you just said, you ARE a Liberal in denial. Again, all Democrats are Liberals. And that's that. [/ QUOTE ] I think you have that backwards - all liberals are Democrats, but not all Democrats are liberals. I think the same can be said for Republicans and conservatives - all conservatives are Republican, but not all republicans are conservative. There are plenty of people in both parties who are definitely moderate, and not over to one side or the other. And yeah, I'm liberal, and I consider that to be a GOOD thing. It means I'm forward thinking and open minded. Contrast that to conservatives who are close minded and resist any and all change. -Nate |
